Aloha Pacific Foundation will donate $25,000 to the Hawaii Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund to support disaster relief efforts following the state’s largest natural disaster. “Hawaii comes together in challenging times, and this is one step in helping our family, friends, and extended ohana on Maui begin to heal and recover,” said Robert Morita, board chair of the Aloha Pacific Foundation. Our hearts are heavy with empathy for those in the Maui community who have been impacted by the Maui wildfires. Our commitment to our community goes beyond financial services – it's about standing together in times of adversity,” said Vince Otsuka, president and chief executive officer of Aloha Pacific FCU. “We know the road to recovery will be long and challenging, and we are dedicated to helping our neighbors rebuild and restore their lives." Members, their families, and the wider community are also invited to make monetary donations at any of Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union’s 10 branch locations, including its Maui, Kauai, and Las Vegas locations. Donations are also accepted online at www.alohapacific.com and by phone by calling (808) 531-3711. Monetary donations will be tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Additionally, Aloha Pacific FCU is extending financial assistance to its members who may be in need, including loan deferrals, credit card balance payment programs, and fee waivers.
