Have a passion for true crime podcasts? This one hits close to home

A credit union CEO embezzleed more than $2 million out of a $6 million credit union. Federal regulators had to liquidate IBEW Local 712 Federal Credit Union of Beaver, Pa., and 3,000 members were transferred to another credit union.

News coverage moved on. What happened to the employees? What’s the duty of the board? The town that lost an institution built across generations didn't move on.

Overdrawn uncovers what happens to credit unions, employees, members and communities when trust is lost.

Overdrawn is a new investigative podcast series produced by Andy Janning, a well-known credit union speaker, documentarian and advocate for 30 years. He will follow the fraud beyond the headline and the trial, into the human cost, the systemic failures, the hows and why’s, what the merging credit union endured and the communities left to rebuild.

Each season is 8–10 episodes. Each one is its own investigation.

Andy has already been at the scene of the 2020 embezzlement, interviewed people involved, tracked down and reviewed thousands of documents.

Season 1 drops in September 2026! Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to know:

• What Andy finds on the ground in Beaver

• Unexpected adventures, twists and turns

• When episodes drop before anyone else
